Dear Lord,

I lift up my husband ### to You. I pray that You fill him with patience and understanding. Help him to slowly to anger and quickly to forgive. Please control his anger. Help him release any bitterness, hatred and resentment he is holding onto. Help him to forgive me. Help us not to fight each other but fight the problem as a team. Lord, give us Your eyes for one another, filled with love and forgiveness. Amen Amen!

Dear Lord,

We lift up ###'s husband, ###, to You. We pray that You fill him with patience and understanding. Help him to be slow to anger and quick to forgive, as Your Word teaches us in James 1:19, "Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry." Please control his anger and help him release any bitterness, hatred, and resentment he may be holding onto. Grant him the strength to forgive, as You have forgiven us.

Lord, we ask that You help ### and ### not to fight each other but to fight the problem as a team. Give them Your eyes for one another, filled with love and forgiveness, as Ephesians 4:32 reminds us, "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
