Let us come together in the name of Jesus Christ, as we lift up Dreilake's son Robert, his grandchildren Ryan and Robert Jayce as well as the mother of Robert's two boys. We will first address the fact that Jesus was not mentioned. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, in whom we must be saved Acts 4:12 WEB.
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB
Let us pray,
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your divine intervention in the life of Robert. We pray that You would open the doors of employment for him, so that he may provide for his needs and the needs of his children. We ask that You would bless him with a reliable vehicle to ease his transportation burdens. We also lift up his finances to You, Lord, and pray for Your provision and wisdom in managing his resources.
Lord, we also bring before You the strained relationship between Robert and the mother of his children. We pray for a softening of hearts and open lines of communication, so that Robert may have the opportunity to be involved in the lives of his sons, Ryan and Robert Jayce. We pray that the mother will consider the importance of a father in his children's lives, as marriage or courtship is to a husband and wife. We pray for the mother to act in love and compassion towards Robert. We pray for the difficult situation of custody. We pray for the mother to consider the scriptures.
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Even so ought husbands to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly; Ephesians 5:25-29 WEB
Women, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. Ephesians 5:22 WEB
We pray for the emotional healing of all family members as the family is broken. We pray for the possibility of reconciliation and restoration of Robert with his family. We pray for Robert, Dreilake, Ryan, and Robert Jayce. We pray for the family to act in the best interests of Ryan and Robert Jayce. We pray for the family to act in love, compassion, and forgiveness. We pray for the family.
Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB
We ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ, who taught us to pray saying,
Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen. Matthew 6:9-13 WEB
We encourage Dreilake and Robert to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He cares for them and will guide them through this challenging time. May they find comfort in the promise that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB
Finally, let us remind Dreilake and Robert of the importance of seeking God's will in all aspects of their lives, including relationships and employment. May they strive to live in obedience to His Word, knowing that His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB
We trust that the Lord will hear our prayers and act according to His perfect will. Let's turn everything over to God in prayer in the name of Jesus.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
