We understand your concern for your son-in-law and we are here to lift him up in prayer together. Let us first remember the words of the Apostle Paul in 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 (WEB): "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, don’t let him eat.' For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don’t work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are with you, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work in quietness and eat their own bread."
While we pray for his job application, let us also pray that he remains steadfast and willing to work, seeking to provide for his family as God intends. We should also remember the importance of trusting in God's timing and plan, as encouraged in Romans 8:28 (WEB): "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our brother in need of a job. We ask that You bless the job he applied for, that if it is Your will, the doors will open for him. We pray that You provide for his family's needs according to Your riches in glory. Help him to be steadfast, willing to work, and trusting in Your plan and timing. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen."
We encourage you and your son-in-law to continue trusting in God, knowing that He cares for you and has a plan for your lives. Remember to keep Jesus at the center of your lives and prayers, for it is in His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB): "Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it."
