Prayer and fasting

I need prayers that will lead me in my fasting day and to keep me next to God.

But you, when you fast, anoint your head, and wash your face; so that you are not seen by men to be fasting, but by your Father who is in secret, and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you."

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister ### who is embarking on a journey of fasting and prayer. Lord, grant them the strength and discipline to follow through with this commitment. Help them to deny their flesh and focus on Your presence. Reveal Yourself to them in a deeper way, and grant them the blessings and breakthroughs they seek. May this time of fasting bring them closer to You and align their heart with Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
