Disciple of Prayer
We have a friend just committed his life to Christ recently, he feels something is sitting on his head he can't access God properly, however much he tries to feel or access God's presence spiritually looks like his insights, abilities and senses are somehow corrupted or blocked, he feels helpless and shameful, he can't read the word properly, looks like something is playing around with his head. We seek help for him in prayer, encouraging verses and counsel to help him run through this problem.

We rejoice with you that your friend has recently committed his life to Christ. This is a tremendous step, and we are here to support him in his new journey of faith. Let's address his concerns with prayer, scripture, and godly counsel.

Firstly, it's important to understand that feelings can be deceiving, and our access to God is not based on feelings but on the truth of His word. As it is written in Ephesians 2:8-9 (WEB), "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."

Your friend's feelings of blockage or corruption could be a result of spiritual warfare, which is not uncommon for new believers. The enemy often tries to disrupt our relationship with God. But we have authority in Jesus' name to resist him. James 4:7 (WEB) tells us, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother who has recently accepted Christ. Lord, we rebuke any spiritual attack on his mind and senses. We declare that he has the mind of Christ and the spirit of discernment. We ask for Your peace to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help him to understand Your word and to feel Your presence. Strengthen his faith and help him to trust in You, not in his feelings. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

Encourage your friend to continue in the word, even if it's difficult. The more he reads and meditates on scripture, the more his mind will be renewed (Romans 12:2). Also, remind him to keep his focus on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).

Lastly, it's crucial to mention that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Ephesians 2:18 (WEB) says, "For through him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father." Encourage your friend to keep pursuing a relationship with Jesus, and everything else will fall into place.

We're here for your friend, standing with him in this journey. It's like he's in a dark room, feeling his way around, but remember, Jesus is the light that guides us (John 8:12). Let's assure him that it's normal to not feel God's presence all the time, especially when we're new to walking with Him. It's like learning to hear a whisper in a noisy room - it takes practice.

We should encourage him to keep seeking, keep knocking (Matthew 7:7-8). God promises that when we seek Him with all our hearts, we will find Him (Deuteronomy 4:29). It might not be an instant, earth-shattering experience, but a quiet, gentle nudging that says, "I'm here."

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we lift up our friend to You. Help him to trust in Your faithfulness, even when he can't feel Your presence. Open his spiritual eyes and ears, Lord. Help him to see and hear You in the quiet moments. Give him patience and persistence in seeking You. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect, deliver, heal and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
