Prayer and advice needed

I got hired at a new job that is tough to get into unless you know someone and this job is mostly remote. My family member got me this job and I started beginning this year. The job has a rule that baby bonding cannot happen until after working here for one year. My wife gave birth when I was 8 months in and our manager allowed me to take a personal leave for a month and to use my baby bonding when my year there has come which is 8 weeks leave. My family member is saying that I am making them look bad and that I should have already take what will be 3 months off only being there one year. I pray that I find an answer to see who’s right and what I should do. I pray that if I am right that they God soften their hearts and if I am wrong to please let me know so I know what to do. Please pray for me.

Firstly, it is important to remember that God's word teaches us to "obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls, as those who will give an account, that they may do this with joy, and not with grief, for this would be unprofitable for you" (Hebrews 13:17, WEB). However, this submission must be balanced with the instructions we find in Ephesians 5:25, which states, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church and gave himself up for her." Your responsibility as a husband and father is immense and must be prioritized.

Your family member may be concerned for their reputation, but it is crucial to follow the policies set by your workplace and the guidance of your manager. It appears that you have acted within the rules and with the permission of your manager. Let us pray that God will soften their hearts and bring peace to this situation.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for the blessing of this job and the precious gift of a child. We ask for Your wisdom and guidance in this situation. Please soften the hearts of those who may be misunderstanding Icaretheareth's actions. Help them to see the importance of his role as a husband and father. If there is any wrong on his part, please reveal it to him, and guide him in the right path. We pray for Your peace to reign in their hearts and their home. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Icaretheareth, remember that our actions should always align with God's will and principles. In Colossians 3:23-24, it is written, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." Continue to serve faithfully in your job and trust that God will honor your family's needs.

If there is no mention of Jesus Christ in your prayer requests, it is important to remember that it is only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
