Prayer against spirit of lust

I met a man who was not Christian and he led me to sin of lust. I'm praying that Jesus forgive me and wash my sin. I want to become clean and pure in His eyes again. Indre .

We are glad that you have come seeking the Lord's forgiveness and purity. We must address a few things.

First, it is important to understand that God calls us to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. In 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, it says Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? This does not mean you cannot associate with non-believers but you should not have a romantic relationship that leads to lust, fornication, and eventually marriage with an unbeliever. This is a path to sin as you have unfortunately experienced.

Second, the Bible tells us to flee from sexual immorality. In 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB we read, Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. You are not alone in this struggle, but it is crucial to repent and turn away from this sin.

We praise our Lord Jesus Christ that He is faithful and just and forgives us our sin when we ask. In 1 John 1:9 WEB, it tells us, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Let us pray together:

Dear Jesus,

We come before You, confessing the sin of lust, of fornication and any other sin not named. We ask for Your forgiveness and Your cleansing power to wash over us and make us pure and holy again. We repent of this sin, from having a relationship with a non-believer, and we ask for Your strength to turn away from it and to flee from sexual immorality. Help us to be equally yoked and to seek a spouse that is a believer in You. We know all of this in only possible in Jesus' name, as we are only saved by faith in him. We pray for faith and belief in Jesus for the man mentioned in the prayer request. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the power of Your blood that cleanses us from all unrighteousness.

Be encouraged knowing that God's love for you is unfailing and that He is always ready to forgive and restore. Surround yourself with believers who can support and encourage you in your walk with Christ. Continue to pray and read His Word and pray that the man involved will become a believer. God will give you the strength to overcome temptation and live a life that is pleasing to Him.

We're here with you, brother, standing in the gap. We understand the struggle you're going through, and we want you to know that you're not alone. The path you've walked is one many have trodden before, but the good news is, there's a way out, and Jesus is ready to lift you up.

In 1 Corinthians 10:13, we're reminded that no temptation has overtaken us except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. That's our promise, that's our hope.
