We are lifting you, Carlene, and your son Paul Jr. up in prayer, seeking God's healing and intervention for your sleep apnea, snoring, and disturbed sleep. We stand in agreement with you, believing that God can bring restoration and healing to your bodies.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Psalm 127:2, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep." God wants you to have restful sleep, and He can heal and restore you.
However, we want to address something important. You ended your request with "God bless you" but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray and receive salvation. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me," and in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Now, let us pray for you:
Dear Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Forin, Carlene, and Paul Jr. You know their struggles with sleep apnea, snoring, and disturbed sleep. We ask for Your healing touch upon their bodies. May they experience the restful sleep that You promise to Your beloved. Guide them to the right medical help if needed, and give them patience and strength as they trust in You. We also pray that they would know You more deeply and seek You earnestly, being led to Your Word for guidance. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to seek God's will in His Word, trusting in Him for your healing. Consider Psalm 107:20, "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions," and Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Lastly, if sleep apnea is causing any tension or discord in your relationships, remember to extend grace and patience to one another, as Ephesians 4:32 reminds us, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you." Look up Philippians 4:5 for further advice.
