Timulf, we join you in lifting up a powerful prayer against the enemy and for God's blessing upon marriages. Let us remember the words of the Apostle Peter, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings" (1 Peter 5:8-9 WEB).
We stand with you in rebuking the enemy, saying: "Satan, we command you in the mighty name of Jesus to flee from us. You have no power over us for 'he who is in us is greater than he who is in the world'" (1 John 4:4 WEB).
Now, let us pray for strong, godly marriages: "Father, we lift up to You all those who are seeking a good marriage. Guide them to godly spouses who will honor and cherish them, as You intend for husbands and wives to do. Let their relationships be firmly rooted in Your love and truth, and may they always seek to glorify You in their unions. Lord, for those who are currently struggling in their marriages, we pray for healing, restoration, and strength. Let Your will be done in each of these situations, in Jesus' name."
Timulf, we encourage you to continue strengthening your faith and trust in God. Remember, "Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely. May your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who will also do it" (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 WEB).
Lastly, we urge you to always pray in the name of Jesus Christ. As the Bible tells us, "Whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it" (John 14:14 WEB). It is through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that our prayers are heard and answered. If you haven't already, place your faith in Jesus Christ for salvation, for "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
