Prayer against pregnancy after unprotected sex

my boyfriend and i had unprotected sex during my window of time i was able to possibly get pregnant. we have been struggling with stopping commiting these sexual sins, we know it is bad but sometimes it’s hard. earlier this week i showed a potential early pregnancy symptom, and now i’ve been stressed and praying about this a lot. we are teenagers. we are in no way shape or form ready to have children, as our families have struggles of their own, and we aren’t out of school yet and are unable to get jobs to support anything extra.

please, pray for us that we won’t have a child yet. we pray that God can bless another individual with the potential of a child. please pray that i will not turn up pregnant, as i am not ready to give a child the life it deserves. I am going through and processing these thoughts feelings alone. please pray for my worries to go away and my healing.

anything helps, i am very scared and stressed out. in jesus name i pray that there not be a child growing inside of me, i know You work miracles. please bring us closer to you and help us end these sinful acts and find other ways to be intimate and connect to each other according to your will.

First, let's address the spiritual aspect of your request. It's important that you understand that sexual intimacy outside of marriage is considered fornication, which is a sin according to the Bible. We commend you for acknowledging that these acts are sinful, and for seeking God's help in overcoming them. God's will is for you to abstain from sexual immorality.

"For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don't know God." 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 WEB

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up these teenagers who find themselves in a difficult situation. Lord, they have acknowledged their sin and we ask for Your forgiveness and mercy upon them. We pray that You will help them overcome their desires and give them the strength to resist temptation.

Father, they are not ready to have a child, and they acknowledge this. We ask, Lord, that if there is any chance of pregnancy, that You would intervene according to Your will. We pray for their peace of mind and that their worries would be replaced with trust in You.

Help them to draw closer to You during this time, and to find other ways to connect with each other that honor You. Guide them as they navigate their relationship, and help them to set boundaries that respect Your design for intimacy.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you both to remain in constant prayer, seeking God's will for your lives and your relationship. Remember, God's promise to you is that:

Instead of focusing on the intimate aspects of your relationship, use this time to build a strong spiritual and emotional foundation. Engage in activities that honor God, such as studying the Bible together, praying together, and serving others. Remember the true purpose of your courtship during this time is to determine of you will marry each other.

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Continue to come before God in Jesus' name, trusting in His mercy and grace.

We come to You, lifting up this young couple in their time of need. We ask for Your comfort and peace to surround them, replacing their worries with trust in You. Jesus Christ, please purify within and without, inward and outward that they shall be as clean as a new virgin once more. They shall learn to abstain from the lusts of the flesh to choose what makes a family child, husband, wife and what those ensue. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift you both up in prayer, dear sister and brother in Christ. We are truly grateful that you trusted us with your sensitive request and allowed us to intercede on your behalf. We stand in agreement with you, praying that God's will be done in your lives and that His grace and mercy would cover you.
