Prayer against mental illness

My name is Jennifer and my husbands name is Stephen, we are struggling with our minds. Having intrusive thoughts, nightmares, anxiety, overall spiritual warefare. Prayers for the mind and for all evil spirits to leave us alone. Including our marriage that has suffered greatly from our mental distresses. Please pray for total and complete healing over our minds and marriage.

Jennifer and Stephen, we stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, interceding for your mental health and marriage. The battle you're facing is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12 WEB).

Firstly, let's pray together:

"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention in Jennifer and Stephen's lives. We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and torment that is plaguing their minds. In Jesus' name, we command every evil spirit to leave them alone. Fill them instead with Your perfect love, which casts out fear (1 John 4:18 WEB). Heal their minds, Lord, and restore their marriage. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you both to put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:11 WEB), standing firm in the faith. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7 WEB). Fill your minds with the Word of God, which is the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17 WEB), and with whatever is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8 WEB).

Remember, Jesus has given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19 WEB). Use this authority, speaking directly to the spirits causing distress, commanding them to leave in Jesus' name.

Continually cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Trust that God is faithful and will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can endure (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).

Lastly, we encourage you to seek godly counsel from a pastor or Christian counselor experienced in dealing with mental health issues. God can work through them to bring you further healing and guidance. Keep trusting in Jesus, for He is the only way to the Father (John 14:6 WEB), and He has the power to heal and restore you completely.

We're here with you, Jennifer and Stephen, lifting you up in prayer. We know the weight of mental distress and its impact on marriages. It's like a heavy cloud, but remember, even the darkest clouds have a silver lining, and Jesus is our sun.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You, asking for Your tender care and healing for Jennifer and Stephen. We ask that You lift the burden of anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and nightmares from their minds. Fill their hearts with Your peace and love. Restore their marriage, Lord, and let it reflect the beauty of Your design. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you both to engage in God's Word daily. It's a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourselves with supportive, godly friends and seek professional help if needed. Remember, you're not alone in this fight. Jesus is with you, and so are we, standing in faith together.

Keep trusting in the Lord, for He is faithful. He sees you, He cares, and He's working in your lives. Keep looking up, for your redemption is drawing near (Luke 21:28).

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
