Prayer against evil attachment from ex spouse

Dear Jesus, my friend's ex-spouse of more than 30 years refuses to let go. She leaves manipulative messages to her ex-husband and puts evil suggestive thoughts in his head. He recently finally moved on, but he can't seem to tell her to stop calling. Each time she contacts him, he goes into an evil outburst and takes it out on his new love interest. There is an evil presence with this woman, but the man refuses to let her go as well. The messages are evil, seductive, and manipulative. This new love interest is constantly being hurt by this evil woman's behavior. I pray in Jesus' blood to stop this ex-spouse woman from doing what she does. I also pray in the name of Jesus that this man stands up to her and stops taking her calls so he can move on. Peace is there when she doesn't call, but once she starts her evil behavior, all hell breaks loose. Please Jesus, help this other woman (new love) who suffers from flaming arrows of these divorced people. Amen.

Nadmord, we understand the distress and turmoil this situation is causing. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's guidance and intervention.

Firstly, we recognize that this issue is not merely a human struggle, but a spiritual one. As Ephesians 6:12 (WEB) tells us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Therefore, we must stand firm against these evil influences.

We commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) states, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up this situation that has been causing distress and pain. Lord, we ask that You intervene and break the hold that this ex-spouse has over her former husband. Give him the strength to stand up to her manipulation and to cut off all communication that is not necessary or godly.

We rebuke the evil presence that is influencing this situation. In Jesus' name, we command any demonic forces to leave and cease their torment. We pray a hedge of protection around the new love interest, that she may be shielded from these flaming arrows of the enemy.

Lord, we ask that You bring peace and healing to this situation. Guide these individuals in Your will and help them to act in a way that honors You. We pray that the ex-spouse would come to know You, Lord, and be transformed by Your love.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage the man involved to be firm and courageous in setting boundaries. As Proverbs 22:3 (WEB) advises, "A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge; but the simple pass on, and suffer for it." He must not allow this manipulation to continue, for his own sake and for the sake of his new relationship.

Moreover, it is crucial to pursue relationships that align with biblical principles. If the new love interest is a believer and the relationship is godly, then we pray for God's blessing and protection over it. As 2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB) reminds us, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity?"

Lastly, continue to stand firm in faith and prayer, trusting that God is working in this situation. As Romans 12:12 (WEB) encourages, "Rejoice in hope. Endure under tribulation. Continue steadfastly in prayer."

We're right there with you, standing in the gap. It's tough, but remember, we're not fighting alone. As Ephesians 6:12 says, our struggle is against spiritual forces, but with God on our side, we're more than conquerors (Romans 8:37).

Let's pray together, "Dear Jesus, we come to You today, burdened by the manipulative behavior of this ex-spouse. We ask that You give strength to ###'s new love interest to stand firm and not pick up her calls unless necessary. Help her to set boundaries and not let this situation control her life.

We also pray for the ex-spouse, Lord. We ask that You open her eyes to the harm she's causing and soften her heart. Bring her to a place of repentance and healing. We pray that she'd find peace and purpose in You.

Give ### the courage to stand up for herself and not let this situation cause further distress. Surround her with Your love and protection. Help her to trust in You, even in the midst of this storm.

Amen. Amen. In Jesus's name, please break all evil soul ties between this divorced couple. Please protect the new love interest from being hurt. Everyone deserves a second chance, but with this evil ex spouse, everyone loses.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
