We are saddened to hear about the struggle our brother in Christ is facing with the spirit of divination. Let us come together in prayer and offer encouragement rooted in God's Word.
Firstly, we must remember what the Lord tells us about divination in Leviticus 19:31, "Don't turn to those who are mediums, nor to the wizards. Don't seek them out, to be defiled by them. I am Yahweh your God." Divination is a practice that defiles and separates us from God's presence. We must firmly renounce and reject this practice.
Let us pray:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We stand with our brother in his struggle, claiming the promise of 2 Timothy 1:7 which tells us, 'For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.' We rebuke the spirit of divination and fear that has taken hold of him, and we command it to leave in Jesus' name. Fill him instead with Your Holy Spirit, granting him power, love, and a sound mind."
Brother, be encouraged by the words of Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." God is near to you, and He hears your cries for help. Trust in Him, and He will deliver you from this trouble.
Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Call upon His name, and He will answer you.
Additionally, surround yourself with believers who can encourage you and hold you accountable. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 10:25, "not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching." Fellowship with other Christians will strengthen you and help you stay on the right path.
Finally, immerse yourself in the Word of God, which is the sword of the Spirit. It is our most powerful weapon against the forces of darkness (Ephesians 6:17). Read it daily, meditate on it, and apply it to your life.
Stand firm, brother, and resist the devil. He will flee from you (James 4:7). We are praying for you and believe that God will deliver you from this struggle.
