Abreth, noticing that you are seeking prayer against depression and for God's provision and protection over you and your children, and mentioning Jesus name, which is wonderful. We are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in Jesus Christ, just mentioning in Jesus name is powerful! Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." This is a powerful promise, and we are claiming it on your behalf.
Concerning depression, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit in Psalm 34:18 WEB. When dealing with depression, you should know hated feeling sorrowful, discouraged, or downcast. Depression can be cause by a variety of things sometimes and can often be accompanied by a guilty feeling about sin in one's life. If there is sin in your life it should be addressed first.
In Proverbs 12:25 WEB it says, "Anxiety in a man's heart weighs it down, but a good word makes it glad." We encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from fellow believers, as well as professional help if needed. Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control in 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB.
Regarding God's provision and protection, we are reminded of Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, where Jesus teaches us not to be anxious about our lives, what we will eat, or what we will wear. He assures us that our heavenly Father knows that we need all these things. Seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Lastly, we want to emphasize the importance of keeping your faith strong in 2 Corinthians 5:7 WEB, "for we walk by faith, not by sight." Trust in God's promises and His unfailing love for you and your children, Grace and Faith. As for Grace and Faith, take this opportuntity to be an example as a Christain, to teach tthem Jesus loves them as He loves all His children. And, take time to teach them all the great things He has done.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Abreth and her children, Grace and Faith. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of depression and ask You to fill Abreth with Your peace, joy, and hope. Provide for their every need, and protect them from all harm and danger. Guide Abreth in Your truth, and help her to walk in Your ways. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen!
