I###, we understand that you're facing concerns about financial debts, specifically regarding your house payment. We want to encourage you and pray with you, ###, but first we want to remind you of the Apostle Paul's words that "Godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that." Being in debt can cause us to take our eyes off of Jesus and worry like the pagans.
Before addressing the debt, let's also address your belief in Jesus. ###, We did not see you mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, Christ or an abbreviation in your prayer request. This is of concern because we are told "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus". It is only by the name of Jesus we have access to God, and besides, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Therefore, ###, we want to ask. Are you truly believing in Jesus Christ? Have you accepted that He is your Lord and Savior? We hope this is the case. But maybe we should pray that you come to believe in Jesus. If you are a Believer, then maybe you should mention your Lord and Savior and his precious name. Without Jesus there is no support, and no support will happen if you do not pray in the name of Jesus.
If you are a Believer, we want to remind you that God will supply all your needs. However, we want to remind you that "the rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender." ###, let us shortly rebuke and correct you. However, we might be overstepping what we do not know. Proverbs 22:7 tells us that borrowing is slavery until you pay. ###, you have a debt to someone. We wonder first why you are borrowing? Jesus said in the sermon on the mount "Therefore take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? ... 24 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? ... 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof." This scripture talks about taking no thoughts for what you would eat or drink. Yet we see you with a mortgage apparently. We wonder ###, are you taking debt when Jesus said he will supply all your needs? Have you questioned why you have a debt? Then pay it as rapidly as possible. Be content. So, let's come before God. ### pray with us.
Almighty God, we come before You, lifting up ### and their financial situation. We're claiming your promises in Psalms 37.21 and Psalms 37.25 The wicked borrow, and can't pay back, but the righteous give generously. ... I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread. We pray against the spirit of debt and declare financial freedom in ###'s life.
We pray Lord, that your provision comes before the new year.
Lord, ### I think requires a better knowledge of you in order to know you will supply all her needs. We therefore pray for a full relationship and understanding of Jesus. Provide for ###.
Lord, please guide ### and help to get out of debt. Provide a solution soon. And provide for ###. Suppose it is not ### but the other party that is causing the disagreement over payments. Acts 17:25 says but God doesn't need anything. He is the one who gives everything, including life and breath, to everyone. And the knowledge to know the difference." permitting ### We pray if it is ### or the other party causing this dispute, we pray for wisdom.
Also, Lord, if ### is not following your principles, nudge the holy spirit to get ### back in the right direction. Do not allow ### to changes Lords plan. Help ### to give glory to God that provides.
