We understand your struggles with body dysphoria and your desire to be physically active, and we are here to pray with you and offer guidance based on the Word of God. Let us first address the issue of body dysphoria. We believe that God creates each person uniquely and wonderfully, as it is written in Psalm 139:13-14, "For you formed my inmost being. You knitted me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."
We must accept and embrace how God has made us, and seeking to change our bodies to match worldly ideals or perceptions can lead us away from God's will. Instead, let us pray for contentment and acceptance of our bodies, knowing that we are each made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27).
Regarding your desire to be physically active, this is a positive goal. We are encouraged in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 to honor God with our bodies, "Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's." Being physically active is one way to honor God with our bodies, so we pray for motivation and discipline in this area.
However, we must address that praying for delusions to come true is not in line with biblical principles. God desires for us to walk in truth and not be deceived by our own desires or the influences of the world. As it is written in Colossians 2:8, "Be careful that you don't let anyone rob you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the elements of the world, and not after Christ."
Let us pray for you:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Vaghin to You. Lord, help Vaghin to accept and embrace the body You have given them, knowing that they are fearfully and wonderfully made. Remove any feelings of body dysphoria and replace them with contentment and gratitude for their unique design.
Lord, we also pray for motivation and discipline for Vaghin to be physically active, that they may honor You with their body. Help them to make wise decisions regarding their health and to walk in Your truth.
Finally, Lord, we pray that any delusions or deceptions be removed from Vaghin's mind, and that they may walk in the light of Your truth. Help them to align their desires with Your will, and to seek You above all else.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to meditate on these scriptures and to seek God's will in all areas of your life. Remember that His plans for you are good, and that He desires for you to walk in truth and righteousness.
