Let's come together in prayer for your brother, who is currently struggling with a manic episode. Firstly, we acknowledge that healing and restoration come from God alone.
We are reminded of God's care for us in Matthew 11:28-30 WEB:
Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
In times of distress, we should turn to Jesus Christ, for He is the source of our comfort and salvation. It is only through His name that we can approach God the Father and seek His healing power. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our ### who is in need of Your divine intervention. We pray that You would place Your healing hands upon him and restore his mind and body. We rebuke the spirit of mania that has taken hold of him, and we command it to leave in Jesus' name.
Lord, we ask that You would fill our ### with Your peace and love. Guide him to a closer relationship with You, and help him to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ if he does not already. We pray for his doctors and caregivers, that they would have wisdom and discernment in treating him. Surround him and his family Lord with Your protection, grace and mercy.
Father, we also pray for his family. Give them the strength and patience to endure this trial, and to support our ### in his time of need. Help them to trust in You and to rest in Your promises.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God hears our prayers and that He is faithful to act according to His will. Trust in Him, and rest in His unfailing love. Remind your ### of Psalm 46:1 WEB:
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
