We understand that you're facing a challenging situation with potential job loss and the uncertainty of selling your house. Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
In times of uncertainty, God encourages us to cast our anxieties on Him, for He cares for us. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." We are called to be anxious for nothing, but rather to pray about everything and be thankful. In Philippians 4:6,7 WEB it says "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Regarding your husband's job, we pray that God's will be done. Although we may not understand His plan at times, we trust that He works all things together for good. If it is God's will that your husband keeps the job, remain faithful and thankful and continue to turn to God for comfort and guidance. In Romans 8:28 WEB "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
As for the sale of your house, we pray that God will provide a swift and favorable outcome, and that He may help you discern His purpose for your move. We will also pray for your husband's job. Together we pray:
"Heavenly Father, we lift up this family to you, asking for your divine intervention in their lives. We pray for the job situation, and if it is your will, that the job be saved. We ask for a quick and favorable appraisal and sale of their house. Keep them from worry and anxiety. Guide their steps and help them discern your plan for their lives. We ask for your comfort and provision. We pray that you help them remain faithful to you and thankful in this time of uncertainty. We pray this all in Jesus' name. Amen."
Jesus told us not to be anxious about the things of this world, like what we will eat or drink or wear. He said:
Matthew 6:31-34 WEB "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?', or, 'With what will we be clothed?' 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
This means we should focus on seeking God's kingdom and His righteousness. We should focus on living rightly and seeking God's will for our lives. Then we can trust that God will provide for our needs, including food, drink and clothing.
