We understand that you are experiencing a challenge with your uncle and brother, Amber, and we are here to pray and counsel with you. However, we must first address that we are to pray in Jesus' name and pray for our enemies and not against them.
Let us remember what Jesus said in Matthew WEB:
5:43 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor, and hate your enemy.'
5:44 But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,
We are not to pray for the removal of others or any form of harm for God's word tells us:
Ephesians WEB
4:31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice.
4:32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
And also in Romans WEB:
12:17 "Recompense no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men.
12:18 If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men.
Instead we can pray for their transformation in Christ:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your divine intervention in Amber's life and in the lives of her uncle Daryl and brother Jimmy. We pray that instead of removal, You would bring them to a saving faith in Jesus Christ.
We pray for that You turn their hearts towards You and transform them. We pray for a divine encounter with our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May they be drawn to the love of Christ that surpasses all knowledge and understanding.
We also pray for Amber, that You would fill her heart with love, forgiveness, and patience. Help her to bless those who curse her and do good to those who hate her as Your Word instructs us. Help her to shine the light of Christ to them and everyone around her.
Thank You, Lord, that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly more than we can ask or think. We trust You and Your will for Amber's life and all involved. In Jesus name.
Lastly, we want to remind you Amber, to trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. This is a promise from God's word in Proverbs.
In all things, we ask that you move forward with love and forgiveness. Let us know how we can continue to pray for you and those around you.
