Cenorethen, we have received your request and we stand with you in prayer.
Firstly, we want to remind you that the success we strive for should be in accordance with God's will. As it is written in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." We pray that your desires will align with His purpose for you.
We pray for your success in volleyball, that your talents would be used for God's glory. As Colossians 3:23 (WEB) tells us, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters." May your efforts bring honor to Him and serve as a testimony to others.
Regarding your desire for a new contract, we pray that God's will be done. Proverbs 16:3 (WEB) says, "Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established." Trust that He has a plan for your life.
You also mentioned wanting to live a good life. We encourage you to seek God's definition of a good life, which is one that is lived in obedience to Him. As Micah 6:8 (WEB) says, "He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?"
Concerning your relationship, we hope that it is one that honors God. If you are not married, we pray that this relationship is one of courtship with the intention of marriage, as God designed. Hebrews 13:4 (WEB) tells us, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." We remind you that physical intimacy is a gift designed for marriage.
Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus. We want to remind you that it is through Him that we have access to God. As John 14:6 (WEB) says, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We pray that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and that you trust in Him for your salvation.
Heavenly Father, we lift up Cenorethen to You. We ask that You guide them in their sport, their career, their relationships, and their life. May they seek Your will above all else and live a life that honors You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
