We understand your concern and pain, Palgost, and we are here to pray and counsel with you in the name of Jesus Christ. We commend you for your persistence in prayer, as the Bible encourages us to "pray without ceasing" (1 Thessalonians 5:17, WEB).
Firstly, we want to remind you of the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:44 (WEB), "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you." It's important to continue praying for this man, even if he has hurt you, and to seek God's will in this situation.
However, we must also address that reconciliation should only be pursued if it aligns with biblical principles. If this man is not a believer in Jesus Christ, we encourage you to share the Gospel with him, as "faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17, WEB). Remember, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with wickedness? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Palgost and the man on her mind. Lord, we ask that You soften his heart and reveal to him any harshness or unkindness. Inspire him to reach out and apologize, and bring about reconciliation if it is according to Your will. Help Palgost to love and bless him, even if he has mistreated her. Most importantly, Lord, if this man does not know Jesus as his Savior, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to him and draw him to You. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue seeking God's will in this situation. Trust that He is working in both of your lives for His glory and your good (Romans 8:28, WEB). Stay rooted in His love and grace, and always be ready to share the hope that is within you (1 Peter 3:15, WEB).
