We join you, Anonymous, in thanking God for the precious gifts of life and salvation. It is wonderful that you acknowledge that every good gift comes from Him. We are also encouraged that you are seeking God's favor in your life, especially regarding employment. It is important to remember that God is faithful, and He wants us to come to Him with our requests.
We are reminded of the scripture in Matthew 7:7-8 WEB:
Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.
And in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB,
In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
It is also important to remember that we are all called to be workers and providers, and that it is a blessed thing to have a job. God instituted work before the fall of mankind as a means to extend his dominion in creation. 2 Thessalonians 3:10-11, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: %If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.%' For we hear from some who walk among you disorderly, that they don%27t work at all, but are busybodies."
We will pray that God continues to provide for you and your family, and that He opens the doors of employment for you soon. We will also pray that He gives you peace and patience during this waiting period.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up our brother Anonymous. We thank You for his life and for the salvation You have given him through Jesus Christ. We ask that You continue to provide for him and his family, and that You open the doors of employment for him soon. Help him to seek You first and to trust in Your perfect timing. Give him peace and patience as he waits for Your provision. We believe this prayer in Jesus Christ's Name. Amen.
In the meantime, continue to trust in God and His perfect timing. Keep praying and seeking His face, and remember that He is always working for your good. With that assurance in Christ Jesus, we strongly encourage you to seek God as the direction of your life. We encourage you to go to a church that believes the true Gospel of Jesus and the whole Bible, as these people will give you more prayers and support during life struggles.
Finally, we remember these great comforting verses:
"Delight yourself also in Yahweh, And he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: He will make your righteousness go forth as the light, And your justice as the noon day sun. Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who makes wicked plots happen. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath. Don’t fret, it leads only to evildoing. For evildoers shall be cut off, but those who hope in Yahweh will inherit the land."
(Psalms 37:4-9 WEB)
