Firstly, let's address your marital settlement. We pray that God will grant you wisdom and discernment as you navigate this process. We are reminded of James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." We pray that both parties will be guided by God's will and that a fair and amicable settlement can be reached.
However, we must also remind you of what the Bible says about divorce. In Malachi 2:16, we read, "For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel." While God allows divorce under certain circumstances, such as adultery (Matthew 5:32), it is not His ideal will for marriage. We encourage you to seek reconciliation if at all possible, and to lean on God for strength and guidance during this time.
Regarding your relocation plans, we pray that God will direct your steps. Proverbs 16:9 tells us, "A man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps." We pray that God will open the right doors and close the wrong ones, guiding you to the place He has prepared for you.
We also note that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
