Pray we get the house!

My husband & I applied for a rental house for ourselves and with our one year old daughter and unborn son (due in May). We weren’t the first people to put our applications in, so I’m requesting a prayer that we get selected for this house! It’s beyond perfect for our family and we’d be so grateful.

We are glad to join with you in prayer concerning the rental house for you, your husband, your daughter, and your unborn son. It is wonderful to see a family growing and seeking a home together. Before we pray, let's remember that God knows our needs before we even ask.

When you said you want the house, let's be sure we acknowledge God, the giver of all good gifts. Let's remember Jesus's words, Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that it is near, right at the door. Most certainly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things are accomplished. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away. But no one knows of that day and hour, not even the angels of heaven, but my Father only. As the days of Noah were, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in those days which were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ship, and they did not know until the flood came, and took them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

Let's pray together:

Almighty God, we come before You in Jesus' name. Thank you for your word and the promises it contains. Thank you for the blessings you have given and the love you have poured out. Thank you that we can come to you with our requests and you will hear us. You know ### and her family and all their needs and desires. You are the one who provides all the things we need. Your word tells us that you will supply all our needs according to your riches in Christ Jesus. In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered. Psalm 65:11 You crown the year with your bounty. The wilderness grasslands overflow. The hills are clothed with gladness.

Father God, ### and her husband are seeking a home for their young family. We ask for your will to be done in this situation. We ask for the landlord and the realtor to show favor on this family. We ask for your will in this decision to be revealed. If this house is not your will, we ask for a place even better for this family to live. We ask for your blessings to be poured out on this family. Father God, you know all the needs they have and all the needs they don't even know they have. We ask you to provide these needs. We ask for your provision in this family's life. We ask for your will to be revealed in this situation. We ask for you to provide the landlord and the realtor with wisdom in this decision. We ask for your will to be revealed in this decision.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
