We understand your deep concern and love for your baby dog, Chunin. However, as a group that prays according to biblical principles, we believe that our prayers should be directed to God alone, through Jesus Christ, as instructed in Scripture:
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." - 1 Timothy 2:5 (WEB)
We cannot pray to Saint Francis of Assisi or Saint Anthony Abbot, as this is not in line with biblical teachings. However, we can join you in praying to our Heavenly Father for Chunin's safe return.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Chunin, our sister's beloved dog, to You. Lord, You know the love and bond they share, and You see her heartache. We ask, in Jesus' name, that You would guide Chunin back home safely. Comfort our sister in her distress, and may this situation draw her closer to You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to trust in the Lord during this difficult time. Remember that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our pets:
"Look at the birds of the sky: they don’t sow, nor do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?" - Matthew 6:26 (WEB)
If Chunin returns, we praise God and encourage you to thank Him and continue to trust in Him. If not, we pray that you will find comfort and peace in God's unfailing love.
Lastly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We believe that it is only through His name that we have access to God:
"In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" - Acts 4:12 (WEB)
We encourage you to put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, for He alone is our Savior and Mediator.
