Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts seeking clarity and understanding. Lord, we lift up Dexter2020's concerns and questions about tithes and offerings. We ask that You reveal Your truth to us, as Your Word says in James 1:5, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."
Father, help us to understand the true nature of giving in Your Kingdom. Show us that our offerings are an act of worship and trust in You, not a means to earn Your blessings. Remind us of 2 Corinthians 9:7, "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
Lord, we seek to know if Christianity is truly about tithes and offerings or if there is a deeper relationship with You that transcends material wealth. Help us to see that You care for the poor and the rich alike, and that Your blessings are not limited to financial prosperity. As Jesus said in Luke 12:15, "Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions."
We pray for Dexter2020 to find peace and assurance in Your love and grace. Reveal to us the true essence of serving You, and let us not be swayed by misconceptions. Guide us to serve You with pure hearts, knowing that You are a God of justice, mercy, and compassion.
In Jesus' Name, we pray. Amen.
