Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, seeking your divine intervention in the situation concerning Ps Samuel at Coronation Baptist Church. We lift up Dexter2020's concerns about Ps Samuel's misuse of your name and the manipulation of your people regarding tithes.
Lord, we acknowledge that you have instructed us to bring our tithes and offerings to you as an act of worship and obedience. However, we also know that you desire a cheerful giver and that giving should be done with a pure heart and motive. We pray that you would bring clarity and discernment to Ps Samuel, helping him to understand the true purpose of tithes and offerings.
Father, we ask that you would remove any greed or selfishness from Ps Samuel's heart and replace it with a genuine desire to use the resources entrusted to him for the advancement of your kingdom and the well-being of your people. May he be a faithful steward of the finances and resources you have provided.
Lord, we also pray for justice to be done in this matter. If there are any wrongdoings or misappropriation of funds, we ask that you would bring it to light and hold Ps Samuel accountable. Your word reminds us in Proverbs 11:1 that "a false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is his delight." We trust in your righteousness and justice to prevail.
Furthermore, we pray for the members of Coronation Baptist Church who may be affected by these actions. Comfort and strengthen them, Lord, reminding them that their ultimate trust and reliance should be in you alone. Provide for their needs and guide them in their giving, that it may be done with a joyful and willing heart.
In all things, Lord, may your name be glorified. We trust in your sovereignty and your ability to bring about righteousness and justice. We commit this situation into your hands, knowing that you are the ultimate judge and provider.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
