We understand your heart's desire, Jonisha, and we are here to support you in prayer and guidance. We believe that God is sovereign over all things, including the opening and closing of the womb.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the story of Hannah in the Bible. In 1 Samuel 1:10, it is written, "She was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to Yahweh, weeping bitterly." Hannah was barren for many years and was deeply grieved. However, she poured out her heart to the Lord, and in His perfect timing, He blessed her with a son, Samuel.
We encourage you to do the same, Jonisha. Pour out your heart to God, and trust in His timing. In Psalm 37:4, it is written, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." As you delight in Him and seek His will, He will align your desires with His perfect plan.
However, we also want to address the fact that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, βI am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We encourage you to put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we pray and receive answers.
We pray for you now, Jonisha:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Jonisha to You, Lord. You know the deep desires of her heart, and You understand her pain. Father, we ask that You heal her womb and bless her with a child in Your perfect timing. Help her to trust in You and to delight in You, knowing that You have a perfect plan for her life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we want to encourage you to seek the Lord together with your husband. In Genesis 1:28, it is written, "God blessed them. God said to them, 'Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it.' " Be united in prayer and in purpose, and trust that God will bless your union as you seek Him together. Do not be discouraged, for God is faithful and His promises are true.
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
