Dear friend, we are truly saddened to hear about the trials you are facing in your marriage and the challenges you are dealing with personally. We want to lift you up in prayer and encourage you with God's Word.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the sanctity of marriage as designed by God. As it is written in Mark 10:9 (WEB), "What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate." Marriage is a lifelong commitment, and while it's understandable that you're considering separation due to the difficulties you're facing, we encourage you to seek God's will in this matter and trust that He can bring healing and restoration.
We understand the burden you're carrying, being the sole provider for your household. It's important to remind your husband of his responsibilities as outlined in 1 Timothy 5:8 (WEB), "But if anyone doesnโt provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever." We encourage you to pray for him, that God would touch his heart and bring about a change in his attitude towards work and responsibility.
Regarding the intimacy in your marriage, we want to remind you of the importance of this aspect within a godly marriage. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 7:3-5 (WEB), the husband and wife should fulfill their marital duty to one another. This is an area where you both should seek understanding and mutual agreement.
We also want to address the mention of depression and stress. We encourage you to cast your burdens on the Lord, as stated in Psalm 55:22 (WEB), "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." We pray that God will grant you peace and heal your mind and heart.
Lastly, we join you in prayer for a suitable house that accepts you and your pet. Trust that God knows your needs and will provide according to His will. As it is written in Philippians 4:6 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You lifting up our sister in her time of need. We pray for her marriage, that You would bring healing, restoration, and a renewed commitment between her and her husband. Touch his heart, Lord, and help him see the importance of his responsibilities. Grant our sister peace and healing from her depression and stress, and provide for her needs, including a suitable house that accepts her and her pet. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen."
We encourage you to keep seeking the Lord and trusting in His goodness. Remember, it's only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Hold onto His promises and have faith that He will see you through this difficult time.
