We are truly concerned for your well-being and we stand with you in prayer. Firstly, it's crucial to address that the thought of suicide is a serious matter, and we strongly rebuke this thought. You are a child of God and He created you with a purpose. We encourage you to seek help immediately from a healthcare professional or a trusted counselor.
In times of distress, remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). When dealing with thoughts of suicide, please reach out to a counselor, trusted church member, or other Christian if you need someone to talk to. God cares for you and does not want you to suffer alone.
It is also important that we pray in Jesus' name. For it is only by His name that we can approach God the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved. If you have never done so, it is important to call on Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and to believe in Him who forgives our sins and saves us. He died on the cross and paid for our sins. It is by His name only that we may be saved. It is important that you call on His name to be saved and to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6).
Regarding your job search, we encourage you to trust in God's timing and provision.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of Your divine intervention. Lord, we pray for Your healing touch upon their mind and heart. Cast out all thoughts of suicide and fill them with Your peace, hope, and love. Guide them to the right counsel and support they need.
Father, we also ask that You open new doors of opportunity for them in the realm of employment. Guide them to a job that aligns with Your will for their life, where they can use their talents and skills to bring You glory. Help them to trust in Your timing and provision.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, for God is faithful and He cares for you. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). If you are not doing so, it is important to ask in Jesus' name.
