Triendin, we understand your fears and concerns as you prepare to welcome your first child. Let's come together in prayer and seek God's will for you and your baby during this time.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's love and care for you, as He knows every detail about your situation. Psalm 139:13-14 (WEB) says, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." Your baby is a precious creation, and God is intimately involved in this process.
It's natural to feel terrified, but remember what the Apostle Paul tells us in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, as He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Triendin and her baby. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in her labor. If it is Your will, help her to go into labor naturally before the induction, but we trust that whatever happens is part of Your plan. Please guide the medical team and help Triendin to avoid any complications or side effects from her high blood pressure. Let the delivery go smoothly, and grant her a swift recovery so she can go home with a healthy baby as soon as possible.
Lord Jesus, we know that You are the Great Physician, and we claim Your healing power over Triendin and her baby. In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, Triendin, we want to encourage you to continually fix your thoughts on Jesus Christ during this time. Trust in His love for you, as He is the source of your strength and peace. If you haven't already, meditate on the saving grace of Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again to grant us eternal life. It is only through His name that we have access to God and can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).
