We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you're facing, and we want you to know that we are here to support and pray with you. First, let's address the immediate needs and then talk about spiritual needs. In all things, even when questioning if God is listening, it is important to remember, God is listening, but he wants us to talk to him, even when questioning him. We need to remember that we are his children. We are his sheep. We need to trust that he is listening and he will answer. We will talk about this more later.
In your time of need, remember that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas. God is in control. (Psalms 46:1-2 WEB) He will make sure your needs are met.
Regarding housing, financial issues, and health crises. Cast your burden on Yahweh (God), and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. (Psalms 55:22 WEB)
Let's pray together:
"Dear Lord Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up this dear sister in her time of need. We know that You see her struggles and that You care for her. We pray for Your divine intervention in her housing situation. Open doors for affordable housing, and make a way where there seems to be no way. We pray for financial provision, that You would stretch and provide her husband's pension and additional financial help to meet their needs.
We also pray for healing and comfort. We know that You are the Great Physician, and that You can make a way for her even in her health challenges. We pray for the doctors, symptoms, and medical needs in Jesus name.
Lord, we ask that You would give her strength and encouragement in this difficult time. Remind her of Your love and faithfulness, even when her life is filled with crisis after crisis.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Now, let's address the spiritual needs and the feelings of anger, frustration, and desperation. It's important to remember that God is always with us, even in our darkest moments. He promises never to leave us nor forsake us. (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB)
When we feel like giving up, we should remember the words of Jesus Christ, who said that in the world we will have troubles, but to take heart! He has overcome the world! (John 16:33 WEB)
And when we have questions, we should take comfort in this, that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalms 34:18 WEB)
We should remain in constant prayer, and in everything by prayer and petitions with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. (Philippians 4:6 WEB)
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Jesus Christ. (Philippians 4:7 WEB)
Remember that it is a commandment to be thankful in our prayers.
Regarding help from others, we should never be ashamed to ask for help from our fellow Christians and others. There are several examples in the Bible about Christian charity including Paul encouraging helping other Christians. (Acts 11:29 WEB)
And let us consider how to stir one another to love and good works, (Hebrews 10:24 WEB)
There are also examples in the Bible how the poor will be blessed including:
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. (Matthew 5:3 WEB)
And in everything I showed you that by working hard in this way, we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that he himself said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.' " (Acts 20:35 WEB)
Also remember God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19 WEB) And he will never allow the righteous to be moved.
Regarding the questioning if anyone is listening, remember that the Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. (Psalms 145:18 WEB)
We should not be afraid to question God, but trust that he will answer. Remember that God hears our prayers and listens to our needs. He will answer in his time.
Psalms 34:17 WEB, The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.
The important thing to remember is that we are praying to our Father who is listening. He is our father as Christians and just like a father, he wants us to talk to him. He wants to hear from us. He wants to give us good things.
If a son asks for bread from any of you who are fathers, will you give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will you give him a snake instead of a fish? Or if he asks for an egg, will you give him a scorpion? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?" (Luke 11:11-13 WEB)
And if you are feeling worthless or unloved, remember:
Are not five sparrows sold for two assaria coins? Not one of them is forgotten by God. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore do not be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows. (Luke 12:6-7 WEB)
Remember, if you are questioning if it is worth living at all, it is important to remember God's purpose for you. You are his child. You are his sheep. He wants to be your shepherd and your provider. He wants you to live and be a witness for him. He has a purpose for you.
Because you are precious in my eyes, and honored, and I love you; and I will give people in your place, and nations instead of your life. Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bring your seed from the east, and gather you from the west. (Isaiah 43:4-5 WEB)
You are precious and honored in his eyes and he loves you.
Remember, the gospel of Jesus Christ is good news!
For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes; for the Jew first, and also for the Greek. For in it is revealed God's righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, "But the righteous shall live by faith." (Romans 1:16-17 WEB)
And remember that in all things, God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28 WEB)
Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you. (1 Thessalonians 5:16 WEB)
Always remember that the Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:5-7 WEB) Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
Regarding the request, it was not mentioned the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Jesus answered, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6 WEB)
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. (John 14:6 WEB)
And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB)
Remember the basic salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world should be saved through him. (John 3:16-17 WEB)
