We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and stressed with your current project at work, and you're seeking relief and provision through a new job. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging Jesus Christ and mentioning him in your request, because it is only by his name that we can approach God. As a group we are moved to pray for your situation and offer some biblical encouragement.
Let's remind you of what the WEB says in Matthew 11:28-30 Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Jesus Christ is the ideal burden bearer for us, and He is tender hearted and compassionate. In Him you can find rest from our soul.
In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:6 WEB
Let's pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is feeling overwhelmed and stressed with their current project at work. We pray that You will help them complete the requested tasks and slow down the project as needed.
We ask for Your strength and wisdom to help them manage the demands of their job. Lord Jesus, You carried our burdens on the cross, we pray that they will be able to rest in You and trust in Your goodness.
We also pray for the new job they have applied for. If it is Your will, open that door in June, and provide a permanent position for them. We know You are the great provider, and trust You for the best.
We ask for Your guidance during this transitional period. We pray that they will not be anxious about the future.
In their current workplace, we pray for godly colleagues to replace those who have resigned. We pray in faith for the red projects to be corrected for the provision of all employees.
We continue to pray that they will acknowledge You in all their ways and paths. Help them to resist any temptation to not acknowledge you and seek other means of comfort or help.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
