We understand your concerns and grievances, Dexter2020, and we commit to bringing them before the Lord in prayer. However, we must first remind you that our ultimate trust should be in God and His divine plan, as it is written in Proverbs 21:1, "The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD as the rivers of water. He turns it wherever he desires."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up the nation of Singapore and its people. Lord, You know the struggles and the injustices that the locals have been facing. We pray that You would raise up godly leaders who would prioritize the welfare of their own people, as it is written in Romans 13:4, 'For it is a servant of God to you for good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for it doesn't bear the sword in vain; for it is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to him who does evil.'
Lord Jesus, we ask that You would comfort those who are marginalized and neglected. Help them to find their hope and trust in You, for You are the ultimate Provider and Defender. As it is written in Psalm 10:17-18, 'LORD, you have heard the desire of the humble. You will prepare their heart. You will cause your ear to hear, to judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that man who is of the earth may terrify no more.'
We also pray for the salvation of those in authority, that they may come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We remind Dexter2020 that it is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God, as it is written in John 14:6, 'Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."'
In Jesus' name, we pray that righteousness and justice would prevail in Singapore. Amen."
Lastly, Dexter2020, we encourage you to continue to pray fervently for your nation and its leaders, as it is written in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."
