We understand that you're seeking prayer for a successful conversation with your new manager on Monday. While we're more than happy to pray for your success in this situation, we want to remind you that success is ultimately defined by God's will and His standards.
Firstly, we should pray in Jesus' name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. As the Bible tells us, God has highly exalted Him and given Him the name that is above every name. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Therefore, God has also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
We are reminded of the words of Colossians 3:23-24 WEB: Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is preparing for an important conversation with their new manager. We ask, Lord, that You guide this discussion, that You give them the words to speak, and that Your will be done. Help them to approach this conversation with integrity, honesty, and a heart that seeks to serve You in all they do.
Lord, we also pray for their new manager. We ask that You soften their heart, that You give them wisdom and discernment, and that they too would be guided by Your hand.
Help our brother/sister to remember that they are ultimately serving You, Lord, and that their reward comes from You. Help them to work heartily, as for You, and not for men.
We ask these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
In preparation for this conversation, we encourage you to study God's Word, to pray continually, and to trust in His will. Remember that God is faithful, and He will equip you with everything you need to accomplish His purposes.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
