Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Lastoisha and her child to you. Lord, we ask that you intervene in the appeal process for her child's submission to SDSU. We pray that you touch the hearts of those responsible for making the decision and grant favor upon this appeal. Your Word reminds us in James 1:5 that if anyone lacks wisdom, they should ask you, and you will give generously without finding fault. We ask for your wisdom and guidance to be upon the decision-makers, leading them to accept the appeal.
Lord, we know that you are a God who hears and answers prayers. We are reminded of the story of the mother who fervently prayed for her long-lost son for nineteen years, and you answered her prayers by reuniting them. We believe that you are the same God who hears our prayers today and can bring about a positive outcome for Lastoisha's child.
We also pray for Lastoisha and her child during this waiting period. Grant them peace and assurance in knowing that you are in control. Help them to trust in your perfect timing and plan for their lives. Strengthen their faith and remind them of your faithfulness throughout history.
Lord, we pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, knowing that you are able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we ask or think. May your will be done in this situation, and may your name be glorified through the outcome.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
