Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, on behalf of Gavowin, who desires to have spiritual ears and eyes that can see and hear you clearly. Lord, we acknowledge that you are the author and finisher of our faith, and we humbly ask that you grant Gavowin the spirit of the boy Samuel, who said, "Speak, for your servant hears." Open their spiritual senses to perceive your voice and discern your leading.
We pray, Lord, that you would remove any distractions or noise that may hinder Gavowin from hearing you clearly. Help them to tune out the raucous sounds of the world and attune their hearts to your still, small voice. May they be like the intelligent plain man mentioned in the source material, approaching your Word without prejudice or preconceived notions, ready to receive the spiritual principles and truths that you have woven into it.
Father, we ask that you grant Gavowin a deep awareness of your overshadowing presence in their life. May they constantly feel your nearness and experience the peace that comes from resting in your love. Help them to live in sincerity of heart, desiring to exalt you above all else. May every thought and every action be an act of worship unto you.
We pray, Lord, that you would cleanse the intent of Gavowin's heart with the unspeakable gift of your grace. Fill them with your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in wisdom and discernment. As they seek your guidance and direction, may they find assurance in your promises. Just as your Word assures us that if we lack wisdom, we can ask of you and receive it, we pray that you would grant Gavowin the wisdom they seek. Help them to trust in your faithfulness and believe that you will give them the petition they have asked of you.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
