We understand that you are seeking a new job as a business analyst or a similar role, and you have specific desires for your future workplace. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign over all aspects of our lives, including our careers. It is encouraging to see that you are seeking a workplace where you can feel Jesus' presence and where your employer is a Christian.
Let us address the concerns and pray accordingly.
It is clear that you have faced challenges in your previous employment, including poor management, discrimination, and unfair dismissal. We commend you for standing up for your rights and reporting these issues to the authorities. It is important to seek justice, as Scripture tells us, "Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow's cause" (Isaiah 1:17 WEB).
However, we must also remember that God calls us to forgive those who have wronged us. In Ephesians 4:32 (WEB), it is written, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." As you seek justice, also pray for the ability to forgive and move forward.
Regarding your desire for a two-week break after April, we encourage you to trust in God's timing. It is important to rest, as Scripture tells us, "For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many" (Mark 10:45 WEB). However, we must also be willing to accept the path that God has for us, even if it does not perfectly align with our desires. Trust that God's plan is better than our own (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).
The only name that we can seek God through is through Jesus Christ. There is no other name or way to God. Acts 4:12 WEB says "There is salvation in none other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" So we will pray in Jesus' name.
As for your upcoming interview at the Christian hospital, we pray that God's will be done. We pray that if it is God's will for you to have this job, that the interview will go smoothly and that you will receive the position. But if it is not His will, we pray that you will trust in His plan for your life. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in Jesus' name, lifting up this dear one who is seeking a new job. We pray that Your will be done in their life and that You would guide them to the position that You have prepared for them.
We pray that their future employer would be a compassionate Christian, and that the workplace would be one where they can feel Jesus' presence. We pray that there would be no overwork or constant fear of termination, and that the management would be godly and fair. We pray their interview at the Christian hospital goes well and God opened the door for them if this is your will.
We also pray for justice regarding their previous employment, and we ask that You would give them the strength to forgive those who have wronged them. We pray that You would provide them with the rest that they need, in Your timing.
We ask all of these things in Jesus' name, trusting in Your perfect plan. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in God, to pray in Jesus' name, and to seek His will for your life.
