We understand that you're facing a difficult situation at work and feeling overwhelmed and concerned about the current state of your work contract. The Bible tells us not to be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Let us align our hearts with the Word and pray together for your situation.
Firstly, we must remember that our ultimate trust should be in God, not in man. As it says in Psalm 118:8-9 WEB, "It is better to take refuge in Yahweh, than to put confidence in man. It is better to take refuge in Yahweh, than to put confidence in princes." While we can pray for favor with your manager and app head, we should also be willing to accept God's will, whatever that may be.
Let's pray for God's will to be done in your workplace.
Almighty God, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is facing uncertainty in their workplace. We pray that You would guide the conversations between their new manager and app head, and that any plans made would be in accordance with Your will. We ask that You would give them both wisdom and discernment, and that their decisions would reflect Your purposes. Lord, remind them of the command to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with You Micah 6:8.
We also pray for the pastor who is spreading a false gospel, asking young adults not to get married. God, marriage is a beautiful gift from You, a reflection of Christ's love for the church Ephesians 5:25-32. We pray that You would convict this pastor of the truth, and that they would repent and begin teaching in accordance with Your Word. We also pray for the young adults who may have been influenced by this false teaching, that You would reveal Your truth to them and guide them in Your will for their lives, which includes marriage for many.
We thank you also for the mention of the name of Jesus in this request. It is only in His name that we can be saved and have access to God. Thank you Jesus for this assurance.
For the situation with the HR and the contract, we pray that God would intervene. We ask that He would guide the conversations, and that the outcome would be in accordance with His will. We pray for wisdom and discernment for all involved, and for peace and patience for you as you wait.
Lastly, we pray for strength and guidance as you start working with your new client. We ask that God would bless your work, and that it would bring blessing to you, your employer, and your client. Remind them Lord of Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ."
In Jesus' name, we pray for these things, trusting in His perfect will. Amen.
During this time, we encourage you to meditate on God's promises, to trust in Him, and to rest in His peace. Remember that God is faithful, and that He will never leave you nor forsake you Hebrews 13:5.
Lastly, we must address the issue of blaming others. The Bible tells us to do good to others, to bless and curse not. It seems you may be attributing blame to the HR for the current situation. We must remember that God is in control, and that He uses all things for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Let us pray for them, bless them, and trust God in this situation. Keep in mind Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."
