Firstly, we trust in the power of Jesus' name for healing, as the Bible tells us, "They went out and preached that people should repent. They cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many who were sick, and healed them" (Mark 6:12-13 WEB). Let us pray for your father's leg and the wounds on his foot, that Jesus will touch him and heal him, and that the doctors will have wisdom to treat him effectively. We also pray that his diabetes will be managed well and that he will be comforted during this time of uncertainty.
"Lord Jesus, we come before You, asking for Your healing touch upon ###'s father. Please heal the wounds on his foot, and let not amputation be necessary. We claim Your promise of healing and comfort, in Your precious name, Jesus. Amen."
For your job search, we trust in God's provision and timing. We pray that if it is God's will, you will be selected for the IT executive position, and that you will be a light for Christ in your workplace. Remember, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going" (Ecclesiastes 9:10 WEB). We also pray that you will be able to use your income to bless your family and ease the burden of medical bills.
"Father, we ask that You open the doors for ### to gain meaningful employment. Let his skills be recognized and let favor be upon him during the interview process. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Concerning your father's behavior towards your younger brother, we encourage you to approach this situation with love and patience. Scripture reminds us, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:32 WEB). We pray that your father will cease this behavior and that there will be peace and understanding in your family.
We also want to address your statement about returning to church. While we understand your feelings, we encourage you to remain steadfast in fellowship, as the Bible teaches, "not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the worse, as you see the Day approaching" (Hebrews 10:25 WEB). Church is not a place we go only when things are well, but a community that supports us in all times.
Lastly, we pray that any stronghold of poverty and joblessness will be broken in your life, and that you will experience the abundance of God's blessings. "For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich" (2 Corinthians 8:9 WEB).
Let us keep our faith in Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to God. "In that day you will ask in my name; and I don't say to you that I will pray to the Father for you, for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came forth from God" (John 16:26-27 WEB). Trust in Him, and may His will be done in your life.
