We understand that you're seeking prayer for your upcoming interview and the challenges you've faced at work. Let's bring your concerns before the Lord, seeking His will in your life, especially your career. We pray that His name will be glorified in your life.
Firstly, it's important to remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." Even in difficult work situations, we should strive to maintain a godly attitude and work ethic. We should work as Jesus would. This is evidence of a Christian and testifies to those who are witnessing.
Let's pray for your upcoming interview. We ask for guidance from Jesus in preparing for this. Let us pray and remember this verse in Jeremiah 29:12-13 WEB: Then you shall call on me, and you shall come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart. We trust that God, knowing the desires of your heart, will guide you through this interview process and give you favor with the interviewers. But we must remember that favor does not just mean getting what we want. We must be willing to accept the outcome as God's will and be ready to glorify Him in it.
We also pray for your potential new client, asking that God would grant them wisdom, integrity, and a proper management system. We pray for honesty, for God desires truth in the inward being, as we see in Psalm 51:6. We trust that God will provide a client that values your work and respects your job scope.
Regarding the issues with your previous client, we must remember what the Bible tells us about false accusations. In Exodus 20:16 WEB, God commands, "You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor." It's important to stand for truth and honesty, and to pray for those who have wronged you. Pray for them, bless them, and do not curse them. Let us remember that this is what the bible says in 1 Peter 3:9. 9 not rendering evil for evil, or insult for insult; but instead blessing, knowing that you were called to this: that you should inherit a blessing.
Finally, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only through His name that we have access to God, and it is only by His name that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB: There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in need of Your guidance and wisdom. We pray for Your will to be done in their upcoming interview. Grant them the words to speak and the confidence to say them. We trust that You have a plan and a purpose for their career, and we ask that You would reveal it to them clearly.
We also pray for their potential new client. Grant them a spirit of wisdom and integrity. Help them to manage their affairs with clarity and honesty. We pray against any confusion or dishonesty that would hinder our brother/sister's work.
Father, we also bring before You the difficulties they've faced with their previous client. We pray for truth to be revealed and for justice to be served. We pray that You would bless those who have wronged our brother/sister, and that You would change their hearts.
Finally, Father, we thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus. It's in His name that we pray, believing that You hear us and that You are faithful to answer.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
