We understand that you're seeking prayer for justice and an end to idolatry. Firstly, it's important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). We should pray for the people involved, that they would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, rather than focusing on judgment alone. In John 3:17 it states that “God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.”
It's also crucial to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father, who provides true justice (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). In fact, Jesus taught us that “whatever we ask in His name, He will do it that the Father may be glorified in the Son". God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the situation that Dexterkoh has brought to our attention. Lord, we pray for the people involved in idolatry, that You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. We pray that You would convict their hearts and bring them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
We also pray for justice, Lord. We ask that You would thwart the plans of the enemy and bring an end to the worship of foreign idols. We pray for a stop to be put in their plans, but in your perfect timing and plan. We affirm Your word in 1 Peter 2:11 (WEB), calling us “Dearly beloved, I beg you as foreigners and pilgrims, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;”. We pray that more people will be saved from idol worship and be drawn to Jesus.
We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who is mighty to save and glorious. By whom we have access to You, Father.
Amen.
We encourage you, Dexterkoh, to continue praying fervently and to share the love of Christ with those around you. Be of strong courage. Stand on the Word of God which tells us that “the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly” in Romans 16:20.
