Pray that Jesus will bring a spouse

Pray that Jesus will bring a equally yoked spouse for marriage either through friends introduction and our path will cross each other. I cannot be single forever. Articles please stop praying for sex outside of marriage which that will not happened because I have not met the one which Jesus had for me and also for it to be expedited. As it is his will for me to get a wife and I cannot get rest until this part is fulfilled and I do not sexual desires but now I am controlling it and using all means to get a wife.

We understand your desire for a spouse and how important it is to you. We will pray with you and provide some biblical guidance. First, let's address the intimacy and sexual desire concerns and then pray for a God-honoring marriage.

It's commendable that you're controlling your sexual desires. Remember, God's Word tells us to "flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB). It's crucial to continue abstaining from sexual immorality, including fornication. God has called us to be holy and pure, avoiding any form of sexual sin.

Now, let's focus on your desire for a spouse. It's important to trust in God's timing and will. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).

Remember, God's will is for you to be conformed to the image of His Son (Romans 8:29). He wants you to grow in Christlikeness, and this should be your primary focus. As you grow in your relationship with Christ, He will provide your needs according to His will and timing, and this includes a spouse if it is His will for you.

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother in Christ who desires a spouse. Lord, we ask that You guide him, provide comfort, and help him to trust in Your perfect timing. Help him to grow in his relationship with You, to become more like Christ, and to serve You wholeheartedly.

Lord, if it is Your will, bring a godly woman into his life, someone who loves You and seeks to honor You in all she does. Let their paths cross in a way that brings glory to Your name. Help them to recognize each other as Your chosen spouse, and guide them as they prepare for a God-honoring marriage.

In the meantime, Lord, help our brother to remain pure and holy, fleeing from sexual immorality. Strengthen him to resist temptation and to focus on You. Fill him with Your peace, and help him to be content in his current circumstances.

We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we can approach you and ask for these things. Remember that Jesus Christ is the way the truth and the life and the only way to you.

Continue to trust in God, and remember that His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). He knows what's best for you, and He will provide according to His will and timing. Stay strong in your faith, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus.

We continue to lift up your petition for a spouse before the Lord's throne of grace. We are honored that you have allowed us to join you in praying for an equally yoked partner, either through friends' introductions or divine orchestration of your paths crossing. We stand firm in faith, believing that God's timing is perfect, as He knows you better than you know yourself. Having a godly spouse and marriage is an awesome gift for which we desire His will for you to be victorious.

Please keep the faith, continue resisting temptation as the Lord continues to give you control in this area. We thank Jesus that this is His will for your life. Rest in Him and remember there is no condemnation for those that are in Christ Jesus.
