Good and Faithful Servant
I prayed for this in Jesus Name. Amen.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of our anonymous friend who is in need of prayer. We lift up their request for relief from mandated overtime. Lord, we ask that you would intervene and provide them with rest and rejuvenation. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 127:2 that "It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sleep." We pray that you would grant our friend the rest they need and protect them from excessive burdens.
Father, we also ask for a comfortable working environment for our friend. We pray that any anxiety they may be experiencing would be replaced with your peace that surpasses all understanding, as promised in Philippians 4:6-7. May their workplace be filled with respect and harmony among colleagues, as we are instructed in 1 Peter 2:17 to "honor everyone, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the emperor."
Lastly, Lord, we lift up our friend's health issue to you. We ask for your healing touch upon their body, knowing that you are the Great Physician. We pray for resolution and restoration, trusting in your promise in Jeremiah 30:17 that "I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord."
In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
