Beloved of All
Please pray for ### and ### to have peace between us. We are in our 60s and both struggling with chronic illness.
We both get grumpy especially ###. ### is very high anxiety and high strung and vents constantly. ### has a lot of traumatic memories from childhood and has an anger and critical spirit. ### loves Jesus but ### is always venting about negative things.
It’s very hard to be around ### and ### makes ### feel upset frequently because ### is struggling too with chronic illness and severe fatigue.
God bless you.

We lovingly come together to pray for you and your husband, that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB).

Firstly, we commend you both for your love for Jesus. It is our shared faith in Him that sees us through all trials and tribulations. Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God, for "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB).

We understand that chronic illness and past traumas can weigh heavily on a relationship. It is important to remember that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers of darkness (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). Therefore, let us pray for your husband, that God would deliver him from his anxiety, anger, and critical spirit, healing his past hurts and memories (Psalm 147:3, WEB).

Pray with us:

"Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up our sister and her husband. We ask for Your healing touch on their bodies, that they would be strengthened and refreshed. Lord, we rebuke the spirits of anxiety, anger, and criticism in her husband's life. Heal his past hurts and memories, replace them with Your love and peace. Help them to be kind, compassionate, and forgiving towards each other, just as You are to us (Ephesians 4:32, WEB). Guide them in their words and actions, let their conversation be gracious and seasoned with salt (Colossians 4:6, WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

In moments of tension, remember to "let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice" (Ephesians 4:31, WEB). Instead, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us in perfect harmony (Colossians 3:14, WEB).

Lastly, we encourage both of you to continually fix your eyes on Jesus, trusting in His goodness and love. Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).

We're here for you, dear friend. We feel your burden and we want you to know that we're standing with you in prayer. It's tough when both partners are struggling with chronic illness, and it's easy to let frustration and tension build up. But remember, God is always there, ready to listen and help.

Let's pray for peace in your home, for calm and understanding between you and your husband. We ask God to fill your home with His peace, the kind that only He can give, the kind that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We pray that this peace will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

We also pray for healing, for both of you. May God strengthen your bodies and refresh your spirits. We ask Him to heal your husband's anxiety and anger, to help him let go of the past hurts and traumas. We pray that He would fill you both with kindness, compassion, and forgiveness, just as God forgives us (Ephesians 4:32).

In moments of tension, let's remember to put away bitterness, wrath, and anger, and instead clothe ourselves with love (Ephesians 4:31, Colossians 3:14). Let's choose to speak graciously and kindly to each other, always (Colossians 4:6).

And above all, let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus. Trust in His goodness and love. Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

We're praying with you, for you. You're not alone in this. God is with you, and so are we.

Sorry you are going through that. I think being chronically ill can cause a person to be easily agitated just generally. But I am praying first and foremost for healing of illness and pain for both of you..and for ### to try to think positive..count blessings..and not vent on ### all the time. Praying for God to remove ### fatigue from and refresh ### with His spirit and presence...for both of you in the name of Jesus. Amen.

I love your reply. It’s very helpful and comforting

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
