We understand that you have an important presentation today and would like to be released early, as you have worked additional hours in the past. You are also seeking a new job and hoping for no disruption in your income or finances and to rest early today.
Firstly, we commend your work ethic and dedication. It is important to remember that our work should be done as unto the Lord, not merely for human masters. As it says in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.
However, we must address that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Let's remember Acts 4:12 WEB Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved.
We encourage you to place your faith fully in the Lord and to remember that God's provision and timing are perfect.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your guidance and blessing upon this situation. Lord, give them the words to speak and the confidence to present well today. We ask that You would sovereignly work in their schedule, providing an early release if it is Your will.
Father, we also ask for Your provision in their job search. Open up new opportunities that align with Your purpose for their life. We trust that You will provide for all of their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them to rest well tonight, knowing that You are in control.
Lord, we ask that they would grow in their faith, trusting in You with all their heart, and leaning not on their own understanding. In all their ways, may they acknowledge You, so that You can make their paths straight.
Finally, Lord, we ask for their salvation if they have not believed in the Lord Jesus Christ and trusted in Him alone for salvation. We ask that they would confess with their mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in their heart that God has raised Him from the dead. This is how they can be saved.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, Philippians 4:6-7 WEB tells us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Trust in the Lord, and may His peace be with you.
