We are glad to join you in prayer for your upcoming job interview, Bournecastle. Thank you for bringing your requests for success and favor before God. We will pray for you and the interview, but before we begin, we want to encourage you about your faith and remind you of an important aspect of prayer.
First, let us remember Jesus' teaching about the importance of faith. "Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." Mark 11:24 (WEB). This verse reminds us that when we pray, we should have faith and believe that God hears us and will answer according to His will.
Secondly, we are instructed to pray in Jesus' name. "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." John 16:23-24 (WEB). Praying in Jesus' name means we are coming to God through the mediator, Jesus Christ. It is by His sacrifice on the cross that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we are saved but your prayer request did not mention this essential aspect.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Bournecastle as they prepare for their job interview on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. We pray that You will grant them favor with the interviewers and that Your will be done in this situation. Help them to feel Your peace and presence as they prepare and during the interview.
Lord, if it is Your will, we ask that You open the doors for this job opportunity and that Bournecastle may be offered the position and given a contract. Guide them through this process and give them wisdom and discernment as they make decisions about their career.
We also pray for Bournecastle's faith, that it may be strengthened during this time. Help them to trust in You and to believe that You are working all things together for their good, according to Your purpose.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
