Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit. It is up to you to believe you already "have" faith. The stronger your belief is, the stronger your faith will become.
It is like a muscle builder in a gym. He does not try to "find" muscle. He believes he can build muscle by working out and strengthening the muscle he already has. The more he works out, the more he feeds himself with muscle building food(the Bible and exercising faith), the larger and stronger his muscle(faith) becomes.
In the name of Jesus, I grant your request to be given a New Testament Bible this Sunday. Father, I ask for a New Testament Bible to be given to this person this Sunday, in the name of Jesus. Thank you Jesus.
