Pray that I don’t lose my job

My coworkers and I are under a lot of scrutiny. I am only a few years away from retirement. If I am fired I will lose everything. Please pray that we weather this storm and do not lose our jobs and that our work environment becomes pleasant once again. Thank you and bless you all!

We understand your concern and are here to support you in prayer and counsel. Firstly, it's important to remember that God is our ultimate provider and protector. As it says in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

While we will pray for your job, it's crucial to remember that God's plan is ultimately for our good, even if it might not align with our immediate desires. As Romans 8:28 WEB says, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing uncertainty in their workplace. Lord, You know the anxieties and fears that they are facing, and we ask that You will comfort them and remind them of Your sovereignty. Guide them through this challenging time, and if it is Your will, help them to keep their job and find favor in the eyes of their superiors.

We also pray for their coworkers, Lord, that You will watch over them and provide for their needs. Help them all to work together in unity and harmony, and let Your peace reign in their workplace once again.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to trust in God's plan for your life. Whether that means staying at your current job or moving on to something new, He will provide and guide you every step of the way. Also, it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. It is wonderful that you reached out for prayer. Continue to keep the faith and stand on His promises.

Let's claim Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Let's trust that He will give you peace and guide you through this storm. God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
