Heavenly Father,
We come before You today on behalf of Delaine Coleman, seeking Your divine guidance and peace. Lord, You know the struggles that Delaine is facing, and we ask for Your comfort and wisdom to be upon her.
Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We pray that Delaine may experience this peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Father, we ask that You help Delaine to see and accept the peace and forgiveness that You have already extended to her. Let her feel Your presence and know that Your grace is sufficient for all her needs. As she battles with her feelings and the memories of her past relationship, give her the strength to move forward.
In Isaiah 43:18-19, You remind us, "Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." Lord, we pray that Delaine may perceive the new things You are doing in her life. Help her to let go of the past and trust in the plans You have for her future.
Grant Delaine the wisdom to live in the present and not be bound by the expectations she has conjured in her mind. Help her to understand that Your plans are higher than her plans and Your ways are higher than her ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). May she find peace in knowing that You hold her future in Your hands.
Lord, we also ask for healing from the hurt, broken trust, and feelings of unsafety that have resulted from this past relationship. Help her to forgive and release any bitterness or resentment, so that she may fully embrace the freedom You offer.
In Jeremiah 29:11, You declare, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." We pray that Delaine may cling to this promise and find hope in the future You have planned for her.
Father, we trust that You will guide Delaine every step of the way. Fill her heart with Your love and assurance, and help her to move forward in peace and understanding.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
